Well i don’t think there has to be that much excitement. People are buzzing about the Transformers because there hasn’t been any good transformers stuff in 20 years. But the Simpsons are still on TV,  if you want to see them you just have to watch any Fox affiliate from 5-7 every day.

But I just watched the final trailer for the movie and here’s some buzz for you. It looked awesome, the animation was above normal TV level (even Futurama!) and the story looked good enough to carry a feature length movie. It’s going to be sweet!

Washington Post Article

A quote from Albo

“My job as a delegate is to make people slow down and build some roads,” Albo said. “This bill does both.”

No dumbass, you can’t do both. The intake of money comes from the fact that people aren’t slowing down and thus have to pay your insane fine.

Also.

In Virginia, the fee can be paid over three years. After the first third is paid at the courthouse, the other two are to be billed by the state Department of Motor Vehicles. DMV officials have not determined how that will work, a spokeswoman said.

So this law goes into effect in 7 days and you haven’t even worked out the payment details? Stinks like you snuck this into a larger bill because there’s no way this would pass on its own. OH WHAT’S THAT? You tried to pass this bill before and it didn’t work. I love politics!

OH WAIT, I fucking hate politics.

Still pissed off…

Fuck David B. Albo , Fuck Him right in the Ass!

Delegate David B. Albo introduces us to the $3000 speeding ticket

WTF! He slipped this new law that increases all the fines for traffic offenses in Virginia 10 fold. Did he think that we wouldn’t notice when the $75 failure to signal ticket now comes with an extra $750 fine. Oh but it’s payable in installments for 2 years, ohhh thanks a lot ASSHOLE! I understand that you need money for transpaoration projects around virginia, we do have the 2nd worst traffic in the entire country, but do you need 10 times the money???

What else is also convienent is that Albo is, what’s that… A TRAFFIC ATTORNEY. Why wouldn’t I hire an attorney at say $600 to fight my ticket which will cost me at least $1000. There was no reason to hire one before when the ticket was only $75 or $250 or anything else under the cost of a lawyer unless you faced the prospect of losing your liscense. Good job Albo, somehow in the name of helping Virginia you’ve created major business for all your lawyer buddies.

Another thing I noticed while reading through the list of offenses is that there is no fine for the first offense of refusing to take a breathalizer or Blood test. I’m not sure what the fine for that is anyway, but it has to be less than 3 easy payments of $750 for failing a Breathalizer.

If I get one speeding ticket under this law it’s an additional $1050 fine. That’s like 3 months of car payments with insurance. I might as well sell my car because I can not afford this. Maybe I’ll move to Maryland… because this fine only affects Virginia drivers.

So in conclusion, Fuck him and his crazy law.

So pissed off!

Frankenfridge – frontside

I Spent Saturday painting this, I tried to get it done in one day so I wouldn’t run out of motivation. It took 3 cans of charcoal grey, 2 cans of army green and a half can of black for the lines.

We moved it to the deck on sunday and bobby cleaned it out the rest of the way. My pointer finger and thumb are still numb from holding down the spray nozzle. I could never be a graffitti artist! Also at one point I almost took a sip from a can of black paint ( I forgot which hand I was holding my drink in, I remembered when I spilled black paint on my face.)

But I think the project was a great success!

For about the last year I’ve had NFL quarterback stats. Specifically Ben Roethlisberger 6′5″ 235lbs. We’re like exactly the same… well he may be in a little bit better shape… well, a lot better… whatever.

I stepped on the scale at Laurel’s brother’s house in WVA and the gravity must be heaver out there because it said that I was approaching 250. So when I got back home I used my scale and confirmed it. I weight 246lbs.

I AM AN EIGHTH TON MAN UNIT.

The thing is I don’t have a beer belly, I’m gaining mass in all places at once. It’s like my entire front side is extending outward. It dosen’t feel very healthy.  Of course my mother will blame it on me drinking too much beer, which probably dosen’t help. But I think I’ve found another culprit, Starbucks scones. I guess I should have figured this out before, but the blueberry scone has 300 calories and 20 grams of fat… and I eat one 5 days a week.

So the new plan is….

  1. Cut down on weekly beer intake.
  2. Eat oatmeal or bagel for breakfast.
  3. Play basketball with Q, Travis, and Nigel twice a week.
  4. Don’t be fat.

I’ll keep you updated, Internet.

Preach it brother!

No more will the youth of the 80’s have to sit through horrible 70’s tv shows made into feature length movies. Now we will have our own crappy remake movies to complain about. The 80’s revival continues!

ThunderCats are Coming!

You can’t tell me you don’t get a little excited… but unfortunatley they are cat people. So this could come off looking like Andrew Lloyd Webber does He-Man. But there is a slight chance this won’t suck!

Why is it that every other day my coffee kind of sucks? I pretty much get the same thing every day. I’ve switched from a Venti sugar-free vanilla coffee to a grande sugar-free vanilla americano. But it seems like sometimes they forget the syrup or something. They never forget to charge me, they always remember that. But after I take a few sips I realize that it’s just plain, but by that time I’m already on the elevator.

Sneaky bastards they are.

I’ve seen Spiderman… it kind of sucked. I’ve seen Pirates 3… twas ‘aight. But the movie that I told myself not to get that excited for finally came out and it’s easily the best movie I’ve seen all summer and that includes the ones I’ve rented too. It definitely lives up to the bar set by the director’s first movie ‘the 40 year old virgin’. Obviously if you’re a fan of his TV series’ ‘Undeclared’ or ‘Freaks and Geeks’ you will love this movie. But I’m recommending it to anyone else… everyone else!

Laurel and I were just watching “One Crazy Summer” the other day (which she may or may not have seen, which is a tragedy) and I was thinking about what happened to all the people that were in those movies, besides Cusack and Moore. I mean Booger eeked out a pretty good career. one of them was a Murray brother, and the hot chick was on Dallas for a while. Then today I read a story about the director coming back to make another movie. He’s calling the movie “something that will compliment “Dead” and “Summer,” “. This is great news… I hope he can get Cusack to be in it!

Holland back for another “One”
