I’ve decided it would be a challenge to design logos for all the teams in my fantasy football league. There are some really creative names… and I just like to make things.
First up, The Danky Dankertons

Helmet Logo:

Qaadir sent me this screenshot from Halo 3 last night. That’s him driving, and Im riding the back of the mongoose on a drive by misson. Oh man this was hilarious.
Might have to get a 360 again!
Later!

I saw some really cool illustrations on Flickr today by Travis Pitts.
Inspiration struck… unfortunatley I was at the office. But I need the practice anyway.

I tried to get all my Canada jokes out before we got across the border, but I still think they’re funny dammit.
But after being there for 6 days I’m pretty sure I can’t find anything I don’t like about Canada. Just like South Park taught us they’re polite and clean and (most of them) love America… probably more than most Americans. They have socialized medicine, decriminalized Marijuana laws, low crime, and all the moose you can eat. Plus I can not say enough about poutine and ceasars. It’s pretty much how I’d like to see the USA someday.
If I could get past them spelling “Sportscenter” with an “e” on the end and second rate cable system I would move there in a heartbeat. But alas…
All hail America, Canada’s Ass.
No commentsI’ve been busy, give me a break… Ok so not really. Well really, but I just haven’t thought of it in a while.
I just got back from the Toronto Film Festival last week. So I’ve been trying to unpack and get life back on shedule. This also now includes packing lunch in the morning and trying to save money because I spent it all trying to seem famous at the festival… Damn you $9 beer night. But it was a really cool experience, seeing how the other <s>half</s> 10% lives.
The best part, by far, was getting to see “Zack and Miri make a porno” with introduction and questions after by Kevin Smith. The movie was phenomonal, just really funny (and dirty) and a good story with characters that you really like. If audiences can get past the title then I think this will make Mr. Smith boatloads of money… well it’ll make the Weinstiens lots of money anyways and that’s always good for Kevin. Seth Rogen was born to deliver Smith’s writing and you can see just enough of his improvizations to add some personality to the movie. This is flat out the best cast ever in a View Askew production, it’s nice to see an entire cast of real actors. (yes I consider Mewes an actor… now)
