This is a video of wade putting down the final (hopefully) coat of paint. We’re going back tonight so I think we’ll have actual things hanging on the wall.
ACTUAL THINGS, can you imagine!!
Sometimes I paint, sculpt, draw, or do anything that I might deem art

ACTUAL THINGS, can you imagine!!
I forgot to post this video of Wade and me painting the wall for ARToMATIC 2009.
Being a creative person is 9/10ths preparation. do you know why everybody always says “I could have thought of that” when they’re in an art gallery? Because they probably did think of it and then immediately forgot. It must happen 10 times a day, those moments of inspiration where two ideas come together and you think. Peanut butter and Jelly in one Jar!… genius! In fact I just thought of something better than that example, but then a woman walked by and I totally forgot it.
I’ve started keeping a notebook file on my phone that I can jot down things as I think of them. It’s important that, when this happens, I stop what I’m doing and write them down immediately. Because seconds later I’ll have no idea what I was just thinking about.
I lead a pretty stress free life on a regular basis. I hardly ever have deadlines and the biggest worry is how im going to pay for that next vacation. But the last two springs have been pretty intense. Artomatic is in like 20 days and I have all of nothing finished for it so far. Don’t get me wrong, I have plenty of half finished things all over the place… but nothing in frames ready to go. I can feel the stress starting to build like a tidal wave waaaaay out to sea right now.
We’ll see how I feel in two weeks.

I thought of this logo a really long time ago… I’m pretty sure I had some version of it from about 4 years ago.
I just got inspired the other day and threw it together. The text is temporary… but I just wanted it on there.
